If you are new to green cleaning this article will help you learn more about it and will give you recipes and directions about what to do. It is not hard at all, in fact this will save you money and will be good for your baby and entire family’s health.

Cleaning the baby gear is very important especially during the baby’s first year, because you should be careful to let as little bacteria as possible close to your child. And of course every parent knows that, but most of them use store-bought cleaning products to do so. Of course there are some specifically made for babies’ equipment, but those still have some chemicals in them. If you want to keep your child away from chemicals for as long as possible, here you can find some simple, cheap and easy to make cleaning products to clean your baby’s equipment with.

The most essential ingredients are: baking powder, distilled white vinegar, lemons, essential oils and water. Depending on what you want to clean there are a few very simple recipes provided by Super Tenancy Cleaners Ealing to make that can be used to clean many things.

For example, a stroller, if it has gotten dirty when you were outside, or your child has eaten something in the stroller and made a mess, you can clean it all, with a very simple cleaning solution.

  • Mix equal parts water and white vinegar and you have yourself a great cleaner. Get a sponge or a cloth, and clean your stroller. You can use this cleaning solution for pretty much all kinds of surfaces and materials. It will work on the upholstery and on the metal part of the stroller.

This can be used to wipe down its crib or bed. The mixture can also be used to wash your baby’s sippy cups and bottles. If you do are worried about them smelling like vinegar, you could use baking soda instead of vinegar. Put a sprinkle or two in the bottle, add warm water and shake it. This way your baby’s bottles and sippy cups will be cleaned and deodorized. The smell of milk or formula will be gone.

If there are some tough to remove stains and food remains on your baby’s high chair, you could make yourself the following cleaning abrasive:

  • Mix baking powder and some water, you could add some lemon juice if you want to, to make a mild abrasive paste. Use a sponge to scrub the food remains from the chair. The baking soda is guaranteed to clean and deodorize the chair.

This can be used to scrub any kind of stains on different surfaces. No matter if the problem is the car chair, stroller or on the baby’s clothes.

Something else you could do is – mix lemon juice and water and use it to sanitise your child’s equipment. With a cloth soaked in this solution wipe down everything your baby touches – chair, seat, seatbelt, stroller, sippy cups, toys. The lemon juice has disinfecting properties and is a natural way to keep the baby equipment clean.

Additionally you can add a few drops of essential oil to any of three recipes of your choice. They will not only add a nice smell to the cleaning solution, but several types of essential oils will even help the cleaning and disinfecting, like tea tree or eucalyptus.

These are just simple, cheap and eco friendly cleaning recipes you can make at home and be sure that your baby is safe and away from chemicals. When your child’s health is at stake you should always take extra care. These cleaning products will clean and disinfect your baby’s equipment perfectly and will not be harmful to his health whatsoever.
